Taste of the Islands – we are Rebuilding and need your support!

Hurricane Ian certainly dealt us a blow this past year and our island partners and CROW are building back! Won’t you support all of us?

This year – OFF Island restaurants will be supporting CROW in the week leading up to Taste of the Islands REBUILDING! Our islands’ restaurants need your support as well – before, during and after Taste of the Islands REBUILDING November 13th through the 19th. Taste of the Islands Passports will be available not only in print but digitally this year – allowing you to vote online for your favorites! ‘Crawl’ around the Islands on scheduled trolleys, bikes, or even golf carts on November 18th and 19th to take advantage of special dining opportunities, visit the CROW Ambassador Tent and take part in special drawings!

Taste of the Islands (both OFF island and REBUILDING) will benefit the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel Island.

Taste of the Islands Restaurant and Community Partners

Thank you to our restaurant and community partners for dishing out delicious cuisine as they generously support CROW’s mission to save wildlife even as many of them are rebuilding themselves! We encourage you to visit as many as of these amazing restaurants and businesses as possible before, during and after our Taste Events from November 5th-19th. Thank you to all who participate and support our cause!

Taste and Crawl for CROW -
now more than ever!

The Taste of the Islands event was created to raise funds for a cause near and dear to the hearts of residents and visitors who love wildlife! The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife – affectionately known as CROW – is located on Sanibel Island, Florida and this past year Hurricane Ian severely damaged the CROW campus. This teaching hospital and visitor education center is dedicated to saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education. and conservation medicine. Ian destroyed many of our rehabilitation enclosures and we are rebuilding stronger and with more resiliency for the future!

Whatever we can do to save wildlife is worth doing – and we love doing it together as a community! If it means having a fabulous time while tasting great food, crawling across beautiful Sanibel, Captiva and Southwest Florida with friends, and CROW-ing about our cause, all the better!
