40th Year
Taste of the Islands Event
November 1-30, 2021
Now in its 40th year, Taste of the Islands gives you access to special dining opportunities at the Island’s finest restaurants throughout the month of November. With your 2021 Taste Passport, you can sample Sanibel and Captiva Islands’ best restaurants. As you “crawl” across the islands, visit participating restaurants with (or even without) your passport. Then, turn it in to be entered into the drawing for exclusive prizes!
A portion of Taste of the Islands proceeds will benefit the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel Island.
Your “Taste” Journey, Step by Step

Get Your Taste Passport, available for pickup at CROW, Bailey’s Grocery, Huxter's Market & Deli, Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands, and the Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce.

Present your passport to be stamped at participating restaurants throughout the month of November.

Vote for your favorite food and beverages to win the People’s Choice Awards with your passport.

Turn in your passport at the Sanibel Island Chamber of Commerce or at the CROW Clinic to be entered into the drawing for prizes such as vacation packages and gift certificates!

Taste of the Islands Restaurant Partners
Thank you to our restaurant partners for dishing out delicious cuisine as they generously support CROW’s mission to save wildlife! We encourage you to visit as many as of these amazing restaurants as possible during the month of November. Thank you to all who participate and support our cause!

Do the CROW Crawl!
Each Saturday in November, our CROW Crawls will feature restaurants in different areas of the islands from 11:30am – 3:30pm. The restaurants will have either a CROW tent with Animal Ambassadors and merch for sale or a sponsor tent with giveaways. Come hungry and make a day of it!

Taste, Crawl and CROW for a
Good Cause!
The Taste of the Islands event was created to raise funds for a cause near and dear to the hearts of residents and visitors who love wildlife! The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife – affectionately known as CROW – is located on Sanibel Island, Florida. This teaching hospital and visitor education center is dedicated to saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education. and conservation medicine.
Whatever we can do to save wildlife is worth doing – and we love doing it together as a community! If it means having a fabulous time while tasting great food, crawling across beautiful Sanibel and Captiva Islands with friends, and CROW-ing about our cause, all the better!
