Taste of the Islands Event
November 12 – 19, 2022
Taste of the Islands is back and better than ever! We’ve listened to our attendees, participating restaurants, and community partners to make this year the most convenient Taste yet! Taste of the Islands will allow patrons to experience the best of Sanibel and Captiva Islands from Saturday, November 12th, through Saturday, November 19th! In lieu of traditional Passports, all you need to know about this year’s Taste event will be included in the FREE Ticket to Ride Guide and Discount Books. ‘Crawl’ around the islands by car, bikes, golf carts, your own two feet, or leave the transportation to us! Purchase your exclusive trolley pass and take advantage of special dining opportunities, and vote for People’s Choice to be entered into a drawing for exclusive prizes!
Taste of the Islands will benefit the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel Island.
Restaurant & Community Partners
Thank you to our restaurant and community partners for dishing out delicious cuisine and offering incredible discounts as you generously support CROW’s mission to save wildlife! We’re seeking partners to participate in this year’s Taste of the Islands event. Register to provide a unique menu item or special offer. Registration closes on September 30. Thank you to all who participate and support our cause!
Do the CROW Crawl!
On Saturdays the CROW Crawls will feature restaurants across both Sanibel and Captiva. Scheduled trolleys will take patrons around the islands from 12pm – 6pm. Three CROW tents will be placed in various locations featuring ambassador animals, games, prizes, and Taste merch for sale! Come hungry and make a day of it! More information on reserving your trolley seat to come!
Taste and Crawl for CROW
The Taste of the Islands event was created to raise funds for a cause near and dear to the hearts of residents and visitors who love wildlife! The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife – affectionately known as CROW – is located on Sanibel Island, Florida. This teaching hospital and visitor education center is dedicated to saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education and conservation medicine.
Whatever we can do to save wildlife is worth doing – and we love doing it together as a community! If it means having a fabulous time while tasting great food, crawling across beautiful Sanibel and Captiva Islands with friends, and CROW-ing about our cause, all the better!
